Description:
Steel bar grating is resistance welded to create a rugged, one-piece constructed panel. The bearing bars are automatically resistance welded at the contact point with the cross bars and, under a combination of high heat and pressure, are fused together to form a permanent joint. The cross bars provide a high degree of rigidity, yet retain a smooth flat surface for free and easy walking.
Standard grating panels are 3 ft. wide x either 20 ft. or 24 ft. long. Panels are painted black; one end is untrimmed..
Bearing Bars – Load carrying main elements made from steel, aluminum, or stainless steel, extending in the direction of the grating span.
Bearing Bar Centers – The distance center-to-center of the bearing bars.
Carriers – Flats or angles which are welded to the grating panel and nosing of a stair tread and are bolted to a stair stringer to support the tread.
Clear Opening – The distance between faces of bearing bars in rectangular gratings, or between a bent connecting bar and a bearing bar in a riveted grating.
Cross Bars – The connecting bars which extend across the bearing bars, usually perpendicular to them. They may be bent into a corrugated or sinuous pattern and, where they intersect the bearing bars, are welded, forged or mechanically locked to them.
Cross Bar Centers – The distance center-to-center of the cross bars.

The specification of plain type and serrated type bearing bar is 25 x 3 to 100 x 8; The specification of I-section type is 25 x 5 x 3, 32 x 5 x 3, 38 x 5 x 3, 40 x 5 x 3, 50 x 5 x 3, 50 x 7 x 4, 55 x 7 x 4, 60 x 7 x 4, 65 x 7 x 4, 70 x 7 x 4, 75 x 7 x 4, etc.

12.5, 25, 30, 30.16, 32.5, 34, 40, 41.25, 45, 50, 60, 60.32, 80, 100 mm etc, also be according to client's requirement and 30, 40, 60mm are recommended, America standard is available <1'' x 3/16'', 1 1/4'' x 3/16'', 1-1/2'' x 3/16'', 1'' x 1/4'', 1-1/4'' x 1/4'', 1 1/2'' x 1/4''(19-w-4) and so on. >
